The Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE) is a platform led by the University of Tokyo, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Waseda University, to support researchers who aim to launch a startup. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, 13 universities in Tokyo, and startup support organizations join GTIE to create an academic-oriented ecosystem.
In GTIE pre-DEMO day, startups selected by GTIE and incubation from overseas, including the U.S., the Netherlands, and Singapore, as well as innovations by GTIE joint institutions will present their activities.
We hope that all stakeholders in the startup ecosystem will be connected in this event and the ecosystem will provide an opportunity to collaborate with R&D and technologies that have been selected for the GTIE Gap Fund.
