Keio University, which has the mission of “a research university that forges the common sense of the future,” created the Shinanomachi Research and Incubation Center (CRIK Shinanomachi*) and held an opening ceremony on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in order to make people-centered medicine and healthcare the common sense of the future.
*CRIK stands for Center for Research and Incubation, Keio University.
The facility, which opened on the 9th floor of Building 2 on the Shinanomachi Campus, was created as a place for startups and major companies to come together to conduct research and development and enhance each other’s capabilities with the aim of conducting research and incubation for social implementation. Our center will be a place where not only like-minded professionals in the medical and healthcare fields but also startups and major companies in a wide range of fields can conduct R&D and grow together.
